Source: Transitional Committee to Run Zamalek Headed by Kamal Darwish

A source inside Zamalek SC revealed that in light of the current circumstances that the club is going through, the Youth and Sports Ministry intends to formulate a committee to run the club’s affairs until General assembly elections, scheduled next summer, is held.

This comes after the financial and administrative inspection bodies at the Ministry of Youth and Sports found out that the financial and accounting documents in Zamalek did not comply with the standards of the ministry's financial regulations.

It is hesitant within Zamalek SC that the committee would include Dr. Kamal Darwish, Adviser Ahmed Al-Bakri, Adviser Moataz Medhat along with Omar Haridi, Undersecretary of the General Syndicate of Lawyers, for each one of them is trusted and appreciated among club members, especially that they are not seeking to run for the next elections, according to Akhbar Al-Youm.

The club's sages and members have decided to convey their suggestions to the Minister of Youth and Sports to clarify their desire in a rational administration that is aware of the requirements of the next stage in sake of the club's stability.
