Egypt's Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ghada Shalaby, witnessed the signing ceremony of a partnership contract between an Egyptian real estate development company and an international hotel chain.
According to a statement recently issued by the Ministry of Tourism, the contract aims to establish, manage, and operate two hotels, one in New Cairo with a capacity of 180 rooms and the other in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) with a capacity of 110 rooms.
The signing ceremony was also attended by H.E. Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Cairo, Mohamed Haggag, Director General of the General Administration of Hotel Establishments Licensing at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and a number of leaders from the two companies.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Minister delivered a speech in which she welcomed the attendees and congratulated the officials of the two companies on the project. She also conveyed the greetings of Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and wished success for the project, emphasizing its importance in encouraging tourism investment in Egypt, especially in the hotel industry.
The Deputy Minister further hailed the decision of the companies to invest in Egyptian tourism, particularly in the hotel industry, and highlighted the increasing number of incoming tourists to Egypt due to its diverse tourist destinations and products.
"This investment aligns with the Ministry's goal of increasing incoming tourist traffic," Shalaby said.
