Supported by the Tourism Ministry, a group of Egyptian youth invited some of the most famous bloggers and influencers on social media in the world to visit Egypt which recently became a destination for them.
The well-known filmmaker and director Rory Kramer of the United States, accompanied by Ahmed Wahba, toured the Pyramids, Citadel of Salah ad-Din, Sahl Hashish, Dahab, and El Gouna.

Kramer, followed by thousands, posted on his Instagram account photos during his trip to Egypt which gained impressive interactions.
He commented on his pictures, saying: "As you can see, a genuine smile has found its way back on my face. It’s been a solid 2 years of faking them to find it again."

It is worth noting that the ministry brought Wahba for promoting tourism in Egypt at international tourism fairs like ITB Berlin and London's World Travel Market.

Also, the founders of Germany's Jovi Travel website visited several tourist hotspots in Egypt with the help of Coucla Refaat, such as the Pyramids, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings as well as Almaza Bay in the North Coast which they described as perfect crystal clear waters in an Instagram post.

Their photos were liked by thousands of their followers from all over the world.
The official account of the Egyptian Tourism Authority - Experience Egypt - had reposted their pictures on Instagram.

And from the Philippines, Deegee Razon, a famous social media influencer, posted his photos from Luxor and Giza, saying that he couldn't believe that he is in Egypt.

From Britain, Sara Richard, the founder of Coffee then Travel blog, said during her visit to Egypt: "I’m not telling you this because it’s what you want to hear, or what I think I should say, but I genuinely feel safe in Egypt. I always have."

She also invited her followers to enjoy Egypt's tourist destinations.
The Russian blogger Nataly Osmann, on her Instagram, pointed to the Independent latest article on Egypt, saying: "Thank u @the.independent and our lovely Egypt."

Earlier in May in 2018, the ministry invited Osmann and her husband to visit Egypt as this comes within a framework of the ministry's updating the mechanisms of promotion and the use of bloggers and influencers on various social media platforms for promoting tourism in Egypt.

In November, the ministry, in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, organized a visit for some US bloggers.
The ministry is keen on providing all kinds of support to these bloggers whether by facilitating procedures of obtaining photographic permits at the archaeological sites they visit or opening some archaeological sites after its closing times in coordination with the Antiquities Ministry and the police of tourism and antiquities.
