The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities participates, for the first time, in the exhibition «Diyaruna Handicrafts for 2021», which is held over the period from February 15 through 25 in Cairo Festival City, Fifth Settlement.
Iman Zidan, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Archaeological Sites and Museums, said that the Ministry is participating in this exhibition by displaying replicas produced by the a factory ( known as Kunooz), which is scheduled to open soon to meet the public’s needs for replicas of antiquities , in addition to various handicrafts and traditional products and publications of Supreme Council of Antiquities of Books.
She explained that this exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and it is one of the largest handicrafts exhibitions organized by the ministry to support and empower craftsmen, productive families associations, and owners of small and micro enterprises, in line with the 2030 sustainable development strategy for the development of traditional industries and handicrafts made by 100% Egyptian hands.
