"I'm Tom Cruise and I'm running for President of the United States. America, you complete me." These were the words mentioned in the presidential campaign announcement of Tom Cruise.
In a parody convincing video by filmmaker Stephen Vitale and Tom Cruise impersonator Miles Fisher, Mission impossible star announces that he would be running for president in 2020.
Fisher appears running in this video for two reasons. First, Cruise is known for his love of running, which becomes a central aspect of his image in all his movies. Second, it suggests the idea of Cruise "running" for president in 2020.
Fisher gives an amazing speech about his (Cruise's) long experience at different jobs. He was a lawyer, Vampire, secret agent, race car driver, and a fighter pilot, which makes him a perfect commander-in-chief.
In response to this announcement, The Basic Instinct star, Sharon Stone, twitted that she "wants to be chief of staff... or press secretary".
Of course, there were too many Hollywood movie stars who get involved in political life for real, but it is unlikely that Cruise will be one of them.
