Tom Cruise carried out another death-defying stunt for the Mission: Impossible franchise.

He has cheated death with his latest jaw-dropping stunt for the upcoming "Mission: Impossible 7" film, which involved a terrifying jump from the top of Helsetkopen mountain near Hellesylt in Norway.

The 57-year-old actor prepares himself before carrying out these dangerous stunts he does, which includes hanging from the side of a jet plane in the 2015 movie “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation”.

He also scaled in the 2011 “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol” the Burj Khalifa, Dubai skyscraper, executing the stunt from 123 floors up.

In 2018, Cruise broke his ankle while shooting “Mission: Impossible Fallout” movie as he leaped from one rooftop to the other, and put himself at risk as he hung from a helicopter while shooting the movie.

The actor completed four jumps with a motorcycle out of the huge ramp on the mountain top. A video from the epic stunt was posted online, during which Cruise is seen flying through the air, then parachuting down the steep mountainside before landing safely on the ground.

He has also been photographed filming a similar stunt in the UK last month, which came after reports of the production facing another delay following a stuntman’s bike reportedly exploded while filming in Oxfordshire.

The seventh installment in the hugely successful franchise was one of the first to be hit by delays caused by the pandemic when its Venice film set was shut by the Italian government days before filming was due to start in February.

The production resumed shooting with new precautions in place in August, with a minor pump following the stuntman’s explosion.

Cruise is going far and beyond for the franchise to avoid more delays in production, Cruise has reportedly hired a Hurtigruten boat for the period of the shooting taking place in Norway as he is “determined” to avoid further delays.

“They are terrified of further delays. Tom is determined not to see any more hold-ups. The studio believes it will keep everyone safe and get this shoot wrapped up,” A source told The Sun.

Cruise is reprising his role as the seemingly indestructible globe-trotting secret agent Ethan Hunt in real life as well as in the seventh and eighth follow-ups of the hugely successful franchise “Mission Impossible”.

The Hollywood actor managed to touch down in the UK June 8th just hours away from the implementation of the Government’s new self-isolating rules for those traveling the country came into effect.

The rules, took in effect the same day, which required anyone arriving in the UK from abroad is obligated to go spend 14-days in isolation in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.

He landed at Biggin Hill airport outside of London the day before and is, therefore, not obligated to the rules, where he is set to resume filming the new Mission Impossible movie straight away.

The new movie is being filmed at a makeshift village built by Cruise at an abandoned RAF site, in Oxfordshire county, in South East England, so that the shooting can be resumed.

The 58-year-old actor and his A-list cast are staying in VIP Winnebago trailers, which enables them to work through scenes in a bubble and protect the crew from contracting the coronavirus.

Under the working title of “Libra,” “Mission: Impossible 7” is the latest in a line for the highest-grossing movie franchises for the Paramount Pictures franchise.

The movie is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and starring Rebecca Ferguson, Nicholas Hoult, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, and more.

“Mission: Impossible 7” was scheduled to arrive on July 21, 2021, but will now hit theaters on November 19, 2021.

Meanwhile, “Mission: Impossible 8” was pushed back from its August 5, 2022 date and will instead debut on November 4, 2022.
