Hollywood star Tom Cruise, 57, is reprising his role as the seemingly indestructible globe-trotting secret agent Ethan Hunt in real life as well as in the seventh and eighth follow-ups of the hugely successful franchise "Mission Impossible".

Cruise reportedly managed to touch down in the UK just hours before the Government's new self-isolating rules for those traveling the country came into effect.

As of Monday, anyone arriving in the UK from abroad is obligated to go spend 14-days in isolation in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.

The Hollywood actor landed at Biggin Hill airport outside of London on Sunday and is, therefore, not obligated to the rules, where he is set to resume filming the new Mission Impossible movie straight away.

The new movie is being filmed at a makeshift village built by Cruise at an abandoned RAF site, in Oxfordshire county, in South East England, so that the shooting can be resumed.

The 57-year-old actor and his A-list cast will reportedly stay in VIP Winnebago trailers, which enables them to work through scenes in a bubble and protect the crew from contracting the coronavirus.

A source told The Sun that it was no accident that he arrived Sunday night in the UK as they didn’t want their leading man locked away on his own for 14 days.

The seventh installment in the hugely successful franchise was one of the first to be hit by delays caused by the pandemic when its Venice film set was shut by the Italian government days before filming was due to start in February.

The 57-year-old actor flew for 11 hours from Clearwater, Florida. He is said to be renting a luxury flat in London and using a helicopter to get to and from the set during filming breaks.

All you need to know about Mission Impossible 7

Under the working title of “Libra,” “Mission: Impossible 7” is the latest in a line for the highest-grossing movie franchises for the Paramount Pictures franchise.

The movie is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and starring Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, and others.

“Mission: Impossible 7” was scheduled to arrive on July 21, 2021, but will now hit theaters on November 19, 2021.

Meanwhile, “Mission: Impossible 8” was pushed back from its August 5, 2022 date and will instead debut on November 4, 2022.

In 2018, Cruise broke his ankle while shooting “Mission: Impossible Fallout” movie as he leaped from one rooftop to the other, and put himself at risk as he hung from a helicopter while shooting the movie.

The 57-year-old actor prepares himself before carrying out these dangerous stunts he does, which includes hanging from the side of a jet plane in the 2015 movie “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation”.

He also scaled in the 2011 “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol” the Burj Khalifa, Dubai skyscraper, executing the stunt from 123 floors up.

The novel coronavirus was first reported in Wuhan, China, and has infected more than one million people and killed over 234,139 worldwide. It also hit several celebrities and top political figures around the world.

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 800,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

Coronavirus can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.

It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.

The virus caused complete paralysis in all activities and events with large gatherings worldwide due to concerns over the spread of the virus.
