3 Egyptian Anchors Infected with Coronavirus

Aya Abdel Rahman, the News anchor at Extra News channel, announced that she was infected with Coronavirus.

Abdel Rahman wrote on her account on Facebook that she tested positive for Covid-19 saying: ”I am telling you that I was infected with Coronavirus because I need your prayers and I am sure that I will recover soon thanks to your love and great prayers.”

“I will overcome the virus and return to tell you about my experience with Corona.” she added.

On the other hand, Sources close to, Reham Al-Sahli, the anchorwoman at Extra News channel, confirmed that she was also infected with Coronavirus, and that she is now staying at one of the isolation hospitals belonging to the Ministry of Health for treatment.

Meanwhile, sources said that Maspero Anchor Elham El Nemr tested positive for Coronavirus.

The sources indicated that the necessary measures were taken to isolate the anchor to receive treatment according to the protocol of the Ministry of Health to combat the virus.
