Authorities in Central China's Hunan Province reported on Monday that 3,832 residents have been evacuated following a crack in a dam on the Yuan Shui River.
Xinhua News Agency stated that the crack appeared around 8 p.m. on Sunday at a dam in the town of Yisuhe in Xiangtan County, Xiangtan City, according to the city's Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties related to the incident.
