Friday is one of the most important days of the week for Muslims. It is a day of celebration for Muslims, and the best day of the week in the sight of Allah. The virtue of Friday is mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, where Allah says:

Friday is one of the most important days of the week for Muslims. It is a day of celebration for Muslims, and the best day of the week in the sight of Allah. The virtue of Friday is mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, where Allah says:

"O you who have believed, when the call for prayer is given on the day of Jumu'ah, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you, if you only knew." (Quran 62:9)

Benefits of Friday:

Friday has great benefits for the individual and society, including:

Forgiveness of sins: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever takes a bath on Friday, washes his head and face, knees, and feet, then puts on his best clothes, goes to the mosque, does not separate between two people, then prays what is written for him, then listens when the imam speaks, will be forgiven for what is between him and the next Friday, and an additional three days." (Narrated by Muslim)

Reward and recompense: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever prays Friday in congregation, then sits and remembers Allah until the sun rises, then prays two rak'at, will have the reward of a complete, complete, complete pilgrimage and umrah." (Narrated by Tirmidhi)

Answered supplication: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Indeed, there is an hour in Friday that no Muslim man meets it while he is standing in prayer, asking Allah for good, except that Allah will give it to him." (Narrated by Muslim)

Gathering and compassion: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Indeed, this prayer is obligatory on every Muslim." (Narrated by Bukhari)

Purification of the soul: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"If one of you performs ablution on Friday, then something happens to him after his ablution, he does not have to repeat the ablution." (Narrated by Bukhari)

Coming early to the mosque: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever comes early to Friday and goes early, Allah will prepare for him a seat in Paradise for every step he takes." (Narrated by Ahmad)

Taking a bath: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever takes a complete bath on Friday, then puts on his best clothes, applies perfume, then goes to the mosque, does not separate between two people, then prays whatever is possible for him, then listens when the imam speaks, will be forgiven for what is between him and the next Friday, and an additional three days." (Narrated by Nasai)

Wearing clean clothes: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever wears white clothes on Friday, it will be a expiation for him until the next Friday." (Narrated by Ibn Majah)

Listening to the Friday sermon: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever listens to the sermon of the imam on Friday, and does not speak, will have the reward of a pilgrimage." (Narrated by Tirmidhi)

Praying on the Prophet (peace be upon him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Increase your prayers on me on Friday, for your prayers are presented to me." (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

Reading Surat Al-Kahf: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever reads Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him from his place to the distance of the two Harams." (Narrated by Tirmidhi)

Supplication: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"Indeed, there is an hour in Friday that no Muslim man meets it while he is standing in prayer, asking Allah for good, except that Allah will give it to him." (Narrated by Muslim)
