Al Remas Production Company will start filming “The Pope” movie in November.
The movie revolves around Pope Shenouda III, the 117th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the company that "The Pope" will star a large cast, who will be announced later.
The company added that the movie’s leading actor who is set to play Pope Shenouda III will be a great surprise.
"The Pope" is written and directed by Albert Makram.
This is not the only artistic work that will be soon produced about Pope Shenouda III.
It was reported last October that Veteran Egyptian actor Hassan Youssef will star as Pope Shenouda in a new series.
