Palestinian media reported that a fire broke out near the Israeli Ofrit military base in the Har Hatzovim area of Jerusalem and continued for 3 hours.
For its part, Hebrew Channel 12 said that the fire occurred near the military base and the Hebrew University in Mount Scopus in Jerusalem, noting that the occupation police are investigating the possibility of intentionally starting a fire using a Molotov cocktail.
The Hebrew Channel stated that 12 fire brigades were working to extinguish the fire, to avoid damage to the military base and nearby facilities.
It was reported that the fire caused damage to a container inside the Hebrew University, while no casualties were announced.
