The masses receive the Egyptian Paralympic delegation with flutes

A number of Egyptian fans gathered outside Cairo International Airport to receive the Egyptian Paralympic delegation coming from France after participating in the Paralympic Games held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.

The Mezmar Baladi band was also present to receive the Paralympic champions.

The delegation returned crowned with 7 different medals, divided into 2 gold, 2 silver, in addition to 3 bronze. The gold medals were achieved by the weightlifting duo Rehab Ahmed and Mohamed El-Meniawy, while the silver medals were won by Fatima Mahrous and Mohamed Sobhi, in addition to the three bronze medals achieved by Nadia Fikry and Safaa Hassan, weightlifters, as well as the sitting volleyball team.

The champions are scheduled to be received by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and a number of ministry leaders, in appreciation of the efforts of the champions and the efforts they made and the achievements they made during their participation in the Paralympic Games.

The champions are scheduled to wait at the airport for an open bus that will tour the streets of Cairo on a tour from the airport to the Olympic Center in Maadi.
