The first ever Arabic lifestyle channel was launched under the name MINIZ on the different social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik tok, Snapchat and Twitter. The channel specializes in home recycling, handicrafts and fast food recipes.
MINIZ is the first Arabic channel on social media using the “Make it Yourself” style. The channel addresses the middle East region to help all the men, women or even children adapt to a simpler lifestyle by utilizing the everyday tools found at home or at work and recycling them innovatively.
For example, the channel offers clothing tips and secrets on how to style one item in different ways, the channel also offers simple and fast recipes using common pantry foods. As well as offering simple decorative tips and fun content for children.
The engineer Ramy Abd ElAziz, the chairman of Maverick company announced that it was his dream to create content that respects the minds and improves the thinking. Not only that but he wanted the content to be suitable for everyone no matter how old or educated they are especially since this kind of content is already established in Europe and the United States but it doesn’t address our eastern culture and lifestyle.
Abd ElAziz added that we always say that we do not want to imitate the west but yet we have no other alternatives and thus, he started choosing his team of talented youth not only because they are innovative but because they also know what the younger generations need to adapt to a simple lifestyle.
The COVID-19 pandemic encouraged the MINIZ team to address the Arabic families and help them adapt to the indoors lifestyle and also to help the families use less tools but in many different ways after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The chairman announced that the MINIZ team consists of only seven members most of them under the age of 25. The members have both the talent and passion to create content that expresses the Arabic family and Eastern culture.
The channel was launched two months ago and since then the videos have had millions of views which encouraged the team to keep presenting more content.
30 videos were shot with 90 different ideas and each idea includes 5 different uses to one tool or item. Like 4 ways to use a water bottle or 3 different recipes using yogurt and common pantry foods.
Maverick company was founded in March 2019 and it is a company that specializes in creating content and marketing it on social media.
