Under the guidance of HE Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-‎Azhar Ash-Sharif, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Supervisor of ‎the EZCH. Today, Monday, the EZCH launched the sixth relief convoy ‎to support and provide relief to our fellow people in Gaza, as part of the ‎international “Help Gaza” campaign. The convoy includes 100 trucks, ‎carrying approximately 2,000 tons of foodstuffs, drinking water, medical ‎and living supplies, and large quantities of blankets, quilts, and mattresses.‎

Popular delegations from more than eighty countries around the world ‎participated in preparing the EZCH convoy. It set off from the ‎headquarters of the Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif this morning, heading to the ‎Rafah land port on the Egyptian-Palestinian border, in preparation for its ‎entry into the Gaza Strip. It is meant to provide relief to our fellows in the ‎Gaza Strip. This is the sixth convoy in the Help Gaza campaign, and the ‎second during Ramadan.‎

This convoy comes within the framework of the relief bridge launched by ‎the EZCH, in the light of the continued Zionist aggression on the Gaza ‎Strip, for nearly 6 months. This humanitarian and health catastrophe is ‎aggravating day after day, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 32 ‎thousand, mostly children, women, and elderly, and more than 75 ‎thousand injuries. It is a war of extermination and starvation waged by the ‎Israeli occupation against Gaza. The EZCH has so far been able to launch ‎‎325 trucks, carrying approximately 6,000 tons of humanitarian and relief ‎aid.‎
