The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Saturday, that the death toll in the Strip has risen to 34,388, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli war in Gaza on October 7.

A statement from the ministry stated, “Within 24 hours until Saturday morning, 32 martyrs and 69 injured arrived at hospitals,” during the past 24 hours.

The statement indicated that the total number of injured people has risen to “77,437 injuries since the seventh of last October,” while thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the roads, as the Israeli army prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, said earlier that Israeli forces bombed, at dawn on Saturday, two inhabited homes in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing 8 citizens, including children and women, and wounding dozens.
