The Benefits of Sending Blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has immense merit, including the forgiveness of sins, elevation of one's rank, fulfillment of needs, relief from distress, and attaining his intercession on the Day of Judgment. It is an act of obedience to God's command and a source of blessings in this life and the Hereafter. Furthermore, it earns the one who sends blessings ten good deeds, elevates their rank ten degrees, and expiates ten sins.

- Forgiveness of sins and elevation of rank: The one who sends blessings receives ten good deeds, is elevated ten degrees, and has ten sins forgiven.

- Fulfillment of needs and relief from distress: It is a means of relieving worries and alleviating distress, as mentioned in the hadith of Ubayy ibn Ka'b: "Then your worries will be relieved and your sins will be forgiven."

- Intercession on the Day of Judgment: It is evidence of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) intercession for the one who sends blessings upon him on the Day of Judgment.

- Obedience to God's command: This is direct obedience to God Almighty's command in the Holy Quran: "Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and greet him with a worthy greeting."

- Blessing in life: A cause for blessings in one's lifespan, sustenance, and work.

- Answered prayers: A cause for the acceptance of prayers, especially if the supplication begins and ends with prayers upon the Prophet.

- Firm footing on the Straight Path: God will make the one who prays firm on the Straight Path on the Day of Resurrection.

- Life of the heart: It brings life to the heart, pleasantness to gatherings, and removes poverty and stinginess from its owner.

- Presentation of the name to the Prophet: The name of the one who prays is presented to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Prophet returns the greeting, according to some narrations.
