Syndicate of Journalists condemned on Tuesday the attack on headquarters of Sada El Balad news website.
"The council is following with great concern the attack on headquarters of Sada El Balad news website," Syndicate of Journalists said in a statement.
It dispatched a lawyer to attend the interrogation. Two board members of the syndicate were present as well.
Syndicate chairman Diaa Rashwan contacted the Office of the Attorney General to follow up on investigations with the injured journalists.
"The council declares its full solidarity with the abused colleagues and its rejection of such attacks," the statement added.
It worth mentioning that, the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by Makram Mohamed Ahmed, condemned the attack on Sada El-Balad Headquarters.
"Journalists should not be attacked, whatever the justifications are,” Ahmed said.
