The International Skating Union (ISU) on Sunday inaugurated the “Home of Skating” in Milan, a dedicated venue aimed at bringing together athletes, officials, media and fans during the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
ISU President Kim Jae-yeol said the venue reflects the organization’s values and commitment to celebrating athletes and strengthening the global skating community. The site will host a range of Olympic-related activities throughout the Games.
Chinese figure skater Chen Hongyi welcomed the initiative, describing the venue as a unifying space that embodies the Olympic spirit and encourages greater engagement with skating sports.
The ISU said the “Home of Skating” is expected to serve as a central gathering point for the international skating community throughout the Olympic period.
