Sweltering Weather Continues in Egypt on Friday, Cairo 39°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in the country during daylight hours on Friday.

Wind will be active occasionally across the country, stirring sand and dust periodically in South Sinai.

Egypt will also witness mist on the agricultural and highway roads.

Meteorologists also predict that the country's temperature will decrease by 4 to 5 degrees starting Saturday, September 21.

Moreover, atmospheric dust will occur in Cairo and North Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northwest to northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 32°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
