The Ministry of Supply has taken new measures to confront the chaos regarding the implementation of recovering gold jewelry policy in the Egyptian markets and confronting companies that evade receiving their products from the markets.
The Egyptian Ministry of Supply has taken new measures to confront the chaos related to the implementation of the gold jewelry return policy after some companies refused to receive their products from the markets.
Ahmed Soliman, head of the Assay and Weights Administration said that the ministry has decided to confine all brands operating in the Egyptian market and review their data to apply the refund policy to companies evading inlay jewelry return policies.
"After the recent crisis in the gold market, some companies, which offer more than one brand, minted in their logo, refuse refund policies to gold dealers and average customers," Soliman added.
"The authority intends not to recognize any brands or companies that are not registered with the authority, and refuse the refund policy with gold jewelry inlaid with stones."
"We invite all non-registered brands to quickly register their papers before May 15."
The authority also directed gold dealers and shops not to deal with unregistered trademarks of an unknown source.
