Ingredients
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon yeast
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Milk (enough to knead into a soft dough — about ¾ to 1 cup).
Directions:
For dough
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
Add the oils, then gradually pour in the milk while kneading until you get a soft, smooth dough.
Cover and let it rest for 2 hours in a warm place.
For filling:
• Ground beef
• Tomato
• Onion
• Spices (black pepper, cinnamon, 7-spice mix…)
• 1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses
• A little thyme (optional, but adds great flavor)
Blend the tomato and onion until smooth, then mix them with the meat and add the spices.
