Deputy Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council, Malik Agar headed to Uganda on Wednesday for an official visit of several days.
The visit is part of a tour during which he will visit several African countries.
In a statement, The Transitional Sovereign Council's media office that the Deputy Chairman of the Council will meet with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni during the visit to discuss the latest developments in Sudan.
The visit will also address the course of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, as well as issues of common interest between Sudan and Uganda.
Moreover, the Sudanese official will also meet with European and African diplomatic missions during the visit.
