Today, Al-Arabiya TV quoted a US official, saying that Sudan agreed to include Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organizations.

A joint Sudanese-American-Israeli statement announced that Khartoum and Tel Aviv agreed to establish normal relations between the two countries.

The statement indicated that the agreement was conducted during a phone call between US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk.

Hamdok said, "We are working with the American administration, Congress and the international community to build international relations that would serve our people."

Trump tweeted on Monday, "Wonderful news. The new Sudanese government is doing great, as it agreed to pay the US $ 335 million to American terrorism victims and their families."

Trump also added, "Once the specified amount is paid, I will remove Khartoum from the list of states sponsoring terrorism. In the end, justice will be achieved for the American people, and it will a good step for Khartoum."

He emphasized that Khartoum's removal from the list of states sponsoring terrorism represents a victory in its battle to restore dignity to its removal after the former regime ditched it in the dirt.

In October 2017, the decision to suspend sanctions that were issued against Khartoum, as a result of Sudan's efforts to combat terrorism and improve the human rights situation, yet the issuance of the decision to suspend sanctions, America did not remove Khartoum from the list of terrorism.
