The Sudani Council of Ministers announced recently that everyone who has been in contact with the Minister of the Council Affairs Omar Maniees, who had tested positive for COVID-19, have also been examined, including the Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdok, his advisors and his assistants.
The council mentioned in an official statement today, Thursday, November 26th that the Prime Minister tested negative for COVID-19 while the Prime Minister’s Media Advisor Dalia El Rouby, the Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs Mahmoud Hassanin, and the Minister of the Council Affairs’ Office Manager Youssef El Bashir as well as sixteen other staff members all tested positive.
The council explained that everyone is currently getting treatment and are in good health, adding that they are currently testing everyone who came in contact with the infected staff members.
