Latest Studies Show Coffee, Chocolate Benefits

Stimulating beverages such as coffee and chocolate, which are favorite by all people especially women, are said to be harming health especially of older people.

So, several experts advised people to give up drinking those beverages, however Dr. Hany El Nazer, the previous director of the National Research Center told SEE more optimistic answers about the benefits of chocolate and coffee.

*The first topic is: “Should people give up drinking their morning coffee?”

El Nazer said that people can enjoy their morning coffee but they should be careful while taking them. A research team at Southampton University proved that drinking two cups of coffee daily twice reduces the possibility of having liver failures and diseases including liver cancer.

The team added that the study included almost half a million British people; while examining their medical records, scientists found out that coffee contains Kahweol, and Cafestol, which reduce all factors that cause liver cancer.

In the same context, El Nazer added that those components present higher in the ground coffee beans.

*The second topic is: “Several women who are chocolate lovers, sometimes fear gaining more weight, Did latest studies prove that?”

El Nazer answered that chocolate lovers also can enjoy eating it with care. Because a new study conducted by one of the American universities proved that 100 grams of chocolate daily in the morning did not add weight or increasing the levels of glucose in the blood.

However, it helped in losing weight and burning more fats as chocolate contains Flavonols that contributes to fat burning. In addition, chocolate is useful for heart, skin, and face fairness, alongside, improving human’s psychological mood.
