Spanish Prime Minister (PM) Pedro Sánchez urged countries worldwide to recognize the State of Palestine, grant it full UN membership, and work towards ending the Israeli occupation.
Speaking at the Socialist International Conference in Rabat, Morocco, Sánchez emphasized the importance of achieving "a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East."
He called for unified efforts to address escalating crises in various regions, particularly in Palestine.
Sánchez stated, "The Israeli occupation must end, and the Palestinian people must be empowered to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, within the framework of a two-state solution."
He added, "We must end the suffering of Palestinians and put a stop to the blockade and restrictions on civilian life."
