Spain plans to send additional aid worth €3.5 Mln euros to UNRWA

Spain announced the provision of an additional 3.5 million euros in aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

Spain said in a statement: We will increase support for UNRWA to help Palestinian civilians and avoid famine.

Last Friday, Portugal announced the provision of additional aid worth one million euros to UNRWA, stressing that it is necessary "not to turn our backs on the Palestinian population at that difficult time."
