The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) received Spain's, Queen Sofia.
The Queen was accompanied by a delegation and welcomed by the Executive Director of the NMEC's authority Ahmed Ghoniem.
She toured the festival, including the main hall, open theater, and the Ain Al Sira Lake.
Ghoniem introduced the Spanish delegation to the halls and how they reflect several periods of Egyptian history, alongside the activities of NMEC in the fields of culture and heritage.
Expert Mohamed Mokhtar overviewed the most significant treasures in the museum's Royal Mummies Hall and Egyptian Textile Hall.
After the visit, Ghoniem presented a number of souvenirs to the guests and took some photos.
In addition, Spain's Queen expressed her sincere happiness to visit such a destination.
She asserted that she looks forward to the continued cooperation between Egypt and Spain at different levels.
