SpaceX's giant Starship rocket took off from Texas under the eyes of company CEO Elon Musk and President-elect Donald Trump on a new test flight, during which it failed to return to its platform and instead landed in the sea.
According to Al Arabiya, the capture attempt was canceled just four minutes after the test flight took off from Texas for unspecified reasons, and the booster hit the water three minutes later.
Trump arrived at the base wearing his signature red hat, and Musk greeted him by saying that he was "honored" to be there. With this move, the two billionaires demonstrated their new closeness and interest in conquering space.
