Sources: Egyptian Efforts for Gaza Ceasefire Supported Internationally

There is international support for Egypt's efforts with both Palestinian and Israeli parties to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and restore calm, despite the reluctance of one side to respond to these efforts, an informed source told "Al-Qahera Al Ikhbariya" TV channel.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to launch hundreds of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and atrocities across Gaza, committing bloody massacres against civilians and horrifying acts in areas of incursion.

This comes amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation due to the blockade, with over 90% of the population displaced.

Moreover, Israeli warplanes have destroyed entire residential blocks in Gaza as part of a comprehensive destruction policy in its ongoing assault on the region.

Thousands of martyrs and wounded remain under the rubble, as continuous shelling and dangerous field conditions prevent their recovery. 

Meanwhile, Gaza faces a suffocating blockade and severe restrictions on fuel and urgent humanitarian aid needed to alleviate the catastrophic humanitarian situation.
