In 2017 alone, it handed over military equipment worth more than 1.4 billion euros, including warships, combat aircraft, and armored vehicles.

In the same context enjoy cultural and educational cooperation, including French archaeological missions in Egypt and a French university in Cairo.

France will also send an expert to examine the possibility of repairing a clock in the Castle of Muhammad Ali, given by France in 1845.
