In his speech during the closing session of the Global Financing Pact summit held in Paris, President El-Sisi said, "During the climate summit in 2015, there was a very big push in Paris for the climate conference, and $100 billion was allocated by developed countries as an annual contribution to the climate." President Sisi also expressed his thanks to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his country's support to Egypt, during its implementation of the work program for the largest electric train project, within the framework of sustainable development.
The President Sisi stressed the importance of pumping $100 billion from developed countries to the African continent at this time, which contributes significantly to the advancement of continental infrastructure in Africa.
President Sisi praised the efforts, contributions and steps taken by France, headed by Emmanuel Macron, in the framework of achieving development in developing countries.
