President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said on Saturday that terrorism is a global issue from which many countries are suffering, pointing out that the nations would not be able to achieve progress under terrorism, as the hopes and future of peoples are destroyed by terrorism.
During the first session that evaluates counter-terrorism efforts locally and regionally, president Sisi added: ”We must take into account the immunity of the Egyptian state all the time,” noting that the Egyptian state was affected temporarily after 2011 due to the scheme which aimed to weaken the national state's ability and pide it into small ones.
He said that some have sought to destroy Syria, Iraq and the east through terrorism and armed militias.
The president also stressed that the terrorist organizations rely on the latest technological means to reach their members.
Noteworthy, the eighth edition of the National Youth Conference is based on a number of discussion sessions. The main highlighted session of the agenda is “Ask the President”, which has been opened for questions on the website: Askthepresident.net.
The conference is attended by 1600 participants, the majority of whom are young people. It is attended by the Presidential Program`s youth, the youth of universities, young politicians, young engineers working in national projects, young doctors and also young businessmen.
