President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi took part on Monday in a roundtable with representatives of the business community and heads of major German industrial companies in Berlin, with the participation of a number of senior German officials, and in the presence of ministers of foreign affairs, electricity and renewable energy, planning and economic development, petroleum and mineral wealth, transport, trade and industry, according to Bassam Rady, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic.
The heads and representatives of German companies affirmed their aspiration to intensify cooperation with Egypt to achieve the common interests, reviewing their plans to invest in Egypt or to expand their existing projects in many fields.
In the same context, President Sisi stressed Egypt's intention to continue reform and development efforts in light of the implementation of the national strategy to achieve sustainable development "Egypt Vision 2030," pointing out to Egypt's appreciation for the special strategic relationship with Germany, welcoming in this regard the increased activity of German companies operating in Egypt.
