Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reiterated Cairo’s firm condemnation of attacks targeting Arab countries, stressing Egypt’s unwavering support for the security and stability of its Arab partners.

The remarks came during the annual Egyptian Family Iftar held at the Air Forces House, attended by senior state officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the Senate, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Hussein Issa, Defense Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Ashraf Salem Zaher, along with ministers and representatives from across Egyptian society.

According to Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, President El-Sisi addressed attendees during the event and spoke about the latest regional developments and their potential impact on Egypt.

The president said the Middle East currently stands at a historic crossroads amid rapidly evolving challenges and complex regional changes.

He noted that Egypt is working intensively to help calm tensions and prevent further escalation in the Gulf region, warning that the ongoing war carries serious economic, humanitarian, and security consequences that could affect all countries.

El-Sisi added that Egypt is also continuing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions in other Arab states experiencing armed conflicts, whether to the east, west, or south of Egypt.

In this context, the president reaffirmed Egypt’s clear and consistent position condemning attacks against Arab countries and any actions that threaten their security and stability amid the ongoing regional conflict.

He stressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Arab nations and renewed calls for de-escalation, dialogue, and rational solutions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to international law and international humanitarian law in addressing regional crises.
