President Sisi Lauds Historic Egypt-Russia Relations President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy said that the Austrian Chancellor was keen to congratulate the President on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, stressing the depth of relations and the extension of friendship between Egypt and Austria.
The official spokesman added that the call focused on bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples in various fields, within the framework of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union.
President Sisi and Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer discussed regional situation, especially the intensive Egyptian efforts to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and implement humanitarian aid.
