Today, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The phone call dealt with discussions about the latest developments in the regional situation, especially the developments of the Palestinian issue, as well as ways to enhance the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries.
Rady added that Egypt and Jordan's visions were the same in regards to the importance of intensifying work at the regional and international levels to resolve the current situation regarding the peace process in the Middle East.
Rady continued that the two countries also agreed to dedicate their efforts to resume the negotiations process, aiming at reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.
He concluded that the two leaders affirmed their keenness to strengthen the strategic relations and historical ties between the two countries, in addition to continuing coordination and consultation on various issues of common interest in light of the consensus between them of visions and interests.
