Sisi Participates in Working Dinner in New York

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi participated in a working dinner organized by the Business Council for International Understanding , on the sidelines of the 74th General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA74).

The members of the Business Council for International Understanding are a number of directors of major US companies, investment funds, asset management companies and financial portfolios in the United States.

The President welcomed the meeting, which reflects the spirit of cooperation between Egypt and the United States, stressing Egypt's keenness to develop economic and commercial cooperation relations with the business community and the US companies, in addition to developing  joint investment to contribute to supporting the process of economic development in Egypt,  Ambassador Bassam Radi, Spokesman of the Presidency of the Republic, said.

Moreover, Sisi praised the positive developments witnessed by economic and trade relations between the two countries during the past few years.

In this regard, he pointed out to the huge investment projects being implemented in Egypt, including Suez Canal axis development project, which has a number of major industrial and logistic areas that provide promising opportunities for American companies wishing to benefit from Egypt's strategic location.

The president also stressed that the recent shift witnessed by Egypt in the various developmental sectors reflects the strong will of the state to achieve sustainable development.

Meanwhile, the members of the Business Council for International Understanding expressed their happiness to organize this meeting, which represents a great opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation, especially in the light of many promising fields and investment opportunities in Egypt.

They also praised the remarkable development and growth in the Egyptian economy, supported by the efforts and measures adopted by the Egyptian government to accelerate the process of development, especially with the implementation of several national giant projects.

The members of the council expressed their willing to intensify cooperation with Egypt to achieve the common interests of both sides.
