Hidalgo welcomed Sisi’s visit to France, noting that she is looking forward to cooperation with the Egyptian government and the Cairo governorate, especially at the cultural and service levels; in line with historical relations between Cairo and Paris.

She also affirmed France’s keenness to support Egypt’s development efforts via exchanging expertise and mutual investments.

Meanwhile, President Sisi reviewed ongoing mega national projects in Egypt, which he said open up various fields of joint cooperation on new cities, particularly the New Administrative Capital, as well as on the sector of tourism and antiquities, in light of the new series of museums set to be opened in Egypt, topped by the Grand Egyptian Museum.
