President Abdel Fattah El Sisi mourned Thursday Major-General Kamal Amer, describing the late General his “mentor”.
“Today, Egypt lost one of its most valuable men. My mentor, professor and leader, Major General Kamal Amer, head of the Defense and National Security Committee in the House of Representatives,” Sisi tweeted.
“The deceased was the best mentor and leader, loyal and faithful to the soil of this country until the last moment in his life.”
