Sisi Meets Several Officials to Discuss National Projects

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today several state's officials to discuss important national projects.

El-Sisi met with Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Eng. Sherif Ismail, Assistant President of the Republic for National and Strategic Projects, Mr. Tariq Amer, Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance,

Others who attended the meeting included: Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Major General Muhammad Amin, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs, and Major General A.H. Ihab Al-Far, Chairman of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces.

The presidential spokesperson stated that the meeting dealt with "reviewing the national projects of the Ministry of Higher Education at the republic level, especially the establishment of public, private and technological universities, research centers and institutes."

The president directed the officials to make sure that new universities focus on modern sciences and advanced scientific disciplines that enable young graduates for the current requirements of the labor market, taking into account the number of current and future development projects in Egypt, and the specializations they require in all fields in each governorate in the republic, directing his sovereignty as well as providing scholarship programs for those who excel to join all the colleges of these universities.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar also presented, in the same context, what has been started in building and construction works for university projects at the level of the Republic, explaining the geographic scope methodology and the study programs planned to be offered through those universities and their relevance to the needs of the local, regional and international labor market.
