Sisi: July 23 Revolution Changed Reality of life in Egypt

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi delivered a speech on the 69th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

In his speech, President Sisi said: "Today is the anniversary of a glorious revolution that changed the reality of life in Egypt.”

"Today marks the anniversary of the glorious July Revolution, which achieved radical changes,” the president stressed, noting that after the revolution, Egypt began a new process of national work.

President Sisi stressed that the impact of the July 23 revolution extended beyond the borders of the region to give inspiration and hope to the peoples who are struggling for their freedom.

"This pure national memory reminds us of the late President Mohamed Naguib, who responded to the people's call at a defining moment in the nation's history, and the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser, who did his best to express the will of the people," Sisi added.

He also said that the July 23 revolution created a new process of national action to achieve the hopes of the Egyptian people in bringing about qualitative political, economic and social transformations.

President Sisi paid tribute and expressed appreciation for the leader of the July 23 Revolution, the immortal leader Gamal Abdel Nasser.

On the other hand, the president talked about the current challenge saying that the current challenge, which is of paramount importance to all of us, is changing the reality of life in Egypt in all its aspects through hard work to achieve comprehensive development based on careful planning within the framework of a fully-fledged national vision and strategy to build a strong and advanced country in all fields.

"The National Vision began with implementing a national program for comprehensive economic reform."

The president also praised the efforts of the army and police saying that the armed forces and police succeeded in besieging terrorism and weakening its power.
