President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi left for Qatar, on Monday, to participate in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, being held in Doha, to discuss the Israeli aggression against Qatar.
Mohamed El-Shenawy, official Presidential spokesman stated that Sisi’s participation reaffirms Egypt’s full solidarity with the brotherly State of Qatar, both its government and people, and reflects Egypt’s steadfast stance in standing by its Arab brethren in the face of this aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of all international charters and norms.
The spokesman further noted that President Sisi will deliver Egypt’s address during the summit, outlining Cairo’s vision regarding the latest developments in the Middle East, and reaffirming the core principles of Egypt’s policy in supporting regional security and stability.
On the sidelines of the summit, Sisi is also scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation and joint coordination.
