President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sent on Sunday a congratulatory cable to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate, to congratulate him on the occasion of the Easter Day.
Sisi praised the good ties and sincere feelings that unite all the Egyptian people, Muslims and Christians, calling on God Almighty to preserve Egypt and care for its great people, and to bless it with goodness, peace and progress, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
He also sent a telegram of congratulations to the Christian expatriates of Egypt across the world. "His Excellency expressed his wishes for success to our beloved Egypt with more good and development," said Rady.
