Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held talks in Doha, on the sidelines of FIFA world cup opening ceremony, 'Extra News' TV channel reported.
It is worth mentioning that, Sisi arrived on Sunday in Qatar's capital, Doha, to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup.
Upon his arrival at Doha International Airport, President Sisi was received by Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Qatar's Emir.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said that Sisi's participation in this global sporting event comes in response to the invitation of Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in light of the close fraternal relations between Egypt and Qatar.
