Moments ago, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi affirmed that Egypt has always been targeted by those who do not want her to prosper and advance.

His remarks came as he arrived back from New York where he attended the 74th annual meeting for UNGA, and while his convoy was leaving the airport, the president decided to drop off and greet some small masses who gathered to welcome him home.

Asked about some scattered calls for people to protest against conditions in Egypt, Sisi called upon Egyptians to stay alert for those who want to turn the country unstable and hamper its march toward progress.

He stressed that Egypt is safe and will always be and described those scattered calls for protests as nothing and of no effect at all - on Egypt.

The president expressed his content and appreciation for those who stood by his route from the airport to greet him, and exchanged greetings and shook hands with many of them.

On other hand, the president hinted that he will expect millions to express their support for him whenever he ask for supporting rallies. "Just like the millions-attended- rallies in July 3rd, 2013, Whenever I invite my supporters, it will be a message to the whole world, I expect millions," he explained.

President El Sisi held 19 bilateral summits, 8 of those meetings were between European leaders. He also met three leaders of USA, UK and France; all are permanent members of the UN Security Council. He held  a tripartite Arab summit with King of Jordan and President of Iraq, in addition to an African summit with leaders of Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya.
