Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has mourned the death of Kuwait's emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, according to a statement by the Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The Kuwaiti Emir passed away on Tuesday at age 91.
“President Sisi decided to announce a state of public mourning nationwide for a period of three days, due to the death of the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait,” said Rady.
The mourning state starts today, Tuesday, September 29, and remains until Thursday, October 1.
