President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the announcement of its winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
President El-Sisi said: "I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the announcement of its winning the bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup."
The President continued: "I ask God Almighty to protect the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and that the organization of the tournament be a distinguished event recorded in the history of international and Arab sports."
This was stated by Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency.
