Sisi Attends Police Academy Graduation, Addresses National, Regional Issues

​President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended, this morning, Police Academy's celebration of Graduation Day 2025.

​Mohamed El-Shenawy, official Presidential spokesperson stated that upon his arrival at the Police Academy, the President was keen to pass in front of the stands to greet the graduates' families. 

He was received by Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfik and Assistant Minister of Interior and President of the Police Academy Major General Dr. Nedal Youssef, who delivered a speech at the start of the celebration. 

At the end of his address, Dr. Youssef presented President Sisi with a commemorative gift: a miniature model of the Academy building.

​Sisi called on Police Academy and Egyptian Military Academy to study the possibility of allowing students from Egyptian universities the opportunity to live for a week or more with their brothers from the Police and Army. 

This is intended to be part of performance development and to foster a spirit of fraternity between state institutions and the public.

Moreover, the President extended greetings and appreciation to the families who have offered their children to serve the nation. 

He also addressed a message to the graduates, both male and female, stating that they now bear a great responsibility,to protect the security and safety of the homeland, after their qualification and training. Therefore, they must be role models for the people, and he wished them all success in performing their duties.

​Furthermore, Sisi sent a message of reassurance to the Egyptian people regarding the internal and external situations, clarifying that despite the difficult stage the region is going through, things in Egypt are progressing well, first by the grace of God, and then thanks to the great Egyptian people. 

He also noted that since 2013, Egypt has faced harsh circumstances and violent terrorism, yet it has been possible to defeat terrorism and overcome the challenges thanks to God and the sons of Egypt from the Army, Police, and concerned agencies.

​In the same context, the President affirmed that no threat should cause concern among Egyptians as long as they are united, pointing out that every challenge can be overcome and every danger can be confronted. 

He urged Egyptians to maintain their cohesion, emphasizing that patience and resilience are the way to overcome any crisis.

​Regarding the economic situation, Sisi indicated that indicators are constantly improving, noting that no country is without challenges, and that the role of youth is to bring about positive change in all fields. 

He reiterated that despite the surrounding circumstances, Egypt's economic position is witnessing a noticeable improvement.

​Concerning the external situation, the President referenced the two-year mark since the outbreak of the Gaza war, describing it as a harsh war affecting the region, particularly the Gaza Strip. 

Moreover, he affirmed that Egypt has always been keen to positively engage with the Palestinian cause and is exerting great efforts in this regard, noting that the city of Sharm El Sheikh is currently hosting negotiations aimed at ending the war.

​In this regard, President Sisi expressed his deep appreciation and respect for US President "Donald Trump" for his genuine will to end the war, stressing Egypt's support for every effort made to find a solution. 

He explained that a delegation arrived yesterday from the United States to meet with delegations from Egypt, Qatar, Israel, and Hamas as part of this round of negotiations to stop the war in the Gaza Strip. 

He also highlighted that the US envoys came with a clear message from President Trump to end the war during this round, stressing the necessity of seizing this opportunity.

​President Sisi addressed a message to President Trump in his speech, asking him to continue his support and resolve to end the war. 

He invited him, should an agreement be reached, to come to Egypt to sign the agreement to end the war, especially given the world's interest in ending the war, delivering aid, releasing hostages, and beginning the reconstruction process for the benefit of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian people in the West Bank. 

Additionally, President Sisi emphasized his profound pride in President Trump and his strong will in sending envoys with a clear mandate to end the war, wishing everyone success.

​In a final message to the Egyptian people, Sisi extended his thanks and appreciation, adding that they are an authentic and generous people, and that the future is better, God willing, asserting that no one can harm Egypt as long as all Egyptians are united.

​The official spokesperson noted that following the President's speech, the "Martyr's Salute" was played, followed by the National Anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt. 

After the celebration, President Sisi had breakfast with the senior invitees, where he exchanged discussions with them on developments in domestic affairs and regional updates.
